Hi,

Looks like I'll be aquiring a CHA-47 that requires quite a bit of power and I was wondering how it differs from a CMOY amp.

The cmoy uses a single op-amp to drive the headphones

the 47 amp use two op-amps in a current doubling configuration for driving low impedence cans

The CHA47 is the above on a hansen PCB

Hope this clarifies things a bit
