should I use to replace the resistors on my B-Tech amp with metal film varieties? I've ordered 0.5W varieties but could have also gone for 0.125W 0.4W or 0.6W types.

Will the 0.5W be ok to use. There are full scale pictures of the PCB here: http://freespace.virgin.net/rock.grotto/B-tech.htm

Your comments will be very much appreciated.

All the best.

In my humble opinion, the 4 near the headphone jack are 1/2 watters, the others are 1/4 watters. I could be wrong though, I could have trouble with scale, and they could be 1/2 and 1 watters. You might try this in the DIY forum, there will be lots of opinions :-)

Cheers!

I'll try the DIY forum. The picture is to scale and I reckon they're half watters by looking at them but I just needed a second opinion.

It's very hard to guestimate the wattage of a resistor!
