I do not know if it is worth it getting the cup printed by someone into TPU (rubber plastic hybrid) material but it is denser than wood, it being rubber should have almost no resonance but it is not a rigid material and is really flexible but it is not soft and springy, and also because it is a bit expensive compared to other plastics such as PLA and PETG. I also live in New Zealand this might help with you finding a recommendation on what to put inside cup. For a open back design what should I put inside the housing?
