What is the Sony D-CS901? Did this unit come out before the D-CJO1. I thought the D-CJO1 was the only Sony portable that played MP3 written CDs?

Is this new?

The D-CS901 is the white-and-orange S2 Sports version of the D-CJ01, with a water-resistant bulky "sports" shell but no line-out.

Other MP3/CD players by Sony include the D-CJ500 (a cheaper sibling of the D-CJ01) and the D-CJ506CK (essentially a D-CJ500 with a puck remote and a car kit). Neither of the D-CJ5## models has a line out.

Which means that the D-CJ01 is the only MP3/CD player currently available from Sony that has a line out.
