Looking to get a portable DAC/AMP combo, would like both USB and SPDIF inputs, narrowed down my search to ibasso D12, D4 as the only suitable portable option.
Looking at the ibasso site it is unclear what are the differences between D12/D4, they both seem very simmilar D12 just seems more suitable for Op-amp rolling. I am even considering Boomslan/Toucan but wont be using Balanced mode anytime soon.
I will use them with SE 530/Triple.Fi 10 Pro/Denon 7000/Bose QC 15.
The alternative is to go transportable and get Nuforce HDP, or drop SPDIF and go with DacPort, I dont want to spend > $450 at this time.
