Many headphones and speakers have the name Studio Monitors attached to them. In your opinion, which ones deserve to be called Studio Monitors? I will start with my selection. Don't be afraid to push back. I am all about spirited and polite discussion.

Headphones: Fostex T50RP MK3 with Shures pads. No other modifications.
Speakers: Yamaha HS8

I guess your Yammies and Fostex probably fall somewhere within the Studio definition as do a whole host of Beyers or something like an HD600/650 even though they were not originally intended for that use.
