Can somebody give me an explaination of what the input connector is for on the back of the MG Head unit (the mini-plug)? If it is to turn the MG Head into a preamp how do you do this? Of course the so called MG Head manual gives no explaination of what this is for.

It's just another INPUT, in parallel with the RCA jacks. Don't use them both at same time.

Probably put there to connect portable sources that also have miniplugs/jacks.
