its also really easy for someone to walk off with the entire collection. my car was stolen a few years back and at that point i realized if i left my cds my in a book or portable storage like alot of my friends i would have lost alot more than i did.
ive been using wire floorstanding cd racks for years but now with all the digi-paks and paper/plastic sleeves the wire is causing damage. im moving next week and im going to look for a dresser with deep enough drawers for a cd or sideways dvd case. it would be nice to keep all music movies and games in that with some felt lining the bottoms and sides of each drawer for protection.
