Elpac wallwarts and plainview batteries are highly regarded to supply power for a large number of amps and do improve their sound according to headfiers using them. The only problem is that they are made for 110V and I am wondering if some products exist that are in the same class as elpacs and plainviews made for 220V.
Of course a transformer can be used with the elpacs and plainview charger but can someone confirm that by using the transformer there is no degradation in sound quality? (mainly for the wallwarts)

With a little luck, charging the Plainviews with a good standard NiCd/NiMH-charger (Ansmann Powerline5 for example) should be not much of a problem. For the Elpacs, there are also quite a few good local alternatives (Vivanco, Ebro...).
