I picked up my ES5's from Westone this morning. 
 
Like what I am hearing, and the comfort is good, but I want to listen a few days before I make any proclamations

I imagine you used the free impressions to get them. I guess, as a markeing strategy, giving free impressions works.

Yes, I took advantage of the free impressions,  and Westone allowed a 10% discount to the atendee's of the Head-Fi meet!  Took advantage of that, too.
 
Been listening all day. 
 
Customs are a whole different world when it comes to IEM comfort..
 
The ES5's have given me new respect for the headphone out on an iPod classic!
 
Thus far, my impression of the sound is:  "Balanced and Detailed"...
