Hi!
I have been using in ear mostly but I miss the openness of full size cans. A coworker has the AKG 240s and while semi open, his test of loud volume proved to me that I can handle that small leak since this is a computer tech support area so there is always people on phones and people typing so that small sound leak is not a problem.
My main issue with the 240 is the lack of bass...or maybe it needs some amp to push it.
I tried with my Note 2 and computer.
Now, I like bass but not bloaty stuff, quality bass but not lacking ..so yeah I am picky.
Any recommendations?
A seller around here has the Shure 840 for $100 if that is a good one.

That is a great price for a headphone with a good reputation for audio quality.
Brand new SRH840s cost $200.
