Funny, I'm listening to my SR-007 Mk1s now...they are very special headphones in their own right...but my SR-009s get at least a 2:1 more headtime.

I have the newest version SR-007MK2.  I just find that it was a giant leap up from my 404 - I haven't been disappointed by a stax earspeaker yet....SR-009 is my next target - just trying to acquire one now.  I have and love the HD800 senny but I find there is a reason for different flavors.  The Stax are amazing at retrieval of data - sometimes I like this but their are times when the HD800 presentation is nice, too.
