VH1 Classic "The Alternative" Show

This has to be the best program on any music video channel. Comes on Wed, Thur, Sunday at 11pm est. and only shows alternative videos which means 1977-97 stuff like:
-MBV
-JAMC
-Lush
-Cocteau Twins
-Bauhaus
-Sisters of Mercy
etc etc.

I love this show, they often have musicians in studio for 2hr Sunday show to do interview segments, show started couple months ago. I have seen videos here I didn't even know existed, plus they usually show 4-5 videos straight before any commercial break. Who else watches this? Bong?

I try to catch this whenever I can. I love VH-1 Classic in general, but this is the best program. MBV's "Soon" is the best video ever!

MTV2's Subterranean and Fuse's The Dive are pretty cool but only come on once a week. The Alternative is on three times. It's great.

Last Sunday on "The Alternative" they had two guys from Erasure in studio during 2 hr show and last month they had Soiuxsie & Budgie.....lots of cool talk and that VJ Kristen asks intelligent fun questions.

Yes the "bliss out" videos of MBV are great as are the ones by fellow shoegazers LUSH.......saw several vids I have never seen before for them.

Haven't seen the FUSE Dive show.......did like to watch FUSE Uranium with metal chix Julya but they have not shot any new material for long time and keep showing repeats.

I love "The Alternative." Having had cable available to me only since 1992, it's great to see videos I never got to see before.
