Well, I don't know if I said this before but, for people that make their own PCB's - few things feel so great as a vertical drill press! I got a Dremel and the press couple of weeks ago. Before I used standard power drill for small PCB holes. Your hand would hurt very soon, your back would hurt from standing/sitting in a bad position and you'd sweat for 3-4 hours - I'm not kidding! Plus, it couldn't accomodate small PCB drill bits so you'd have to improvize.
With drill press, it's done in a matter of minutes, or maybe say 20 minutes instead of 3-4 hours. And it's fun!
Granted, maybe Dremel itself is enough and you don't need drill press. One bad thing is that it's incredibly noisy (Dremel), much more so than regular power drill and your ears will hurt, fast.
Also, I must admit that pcbexpress.com or expresspcb.com sound great, so maybe making your own PCB is a waste of time now...
Normally I wouldn't post this but hey we're all starting from 0, I gotta rack up those posts...
