I have a handful of vacuum tubes I pulled from an old black and white TV I was given, years ago. I know they work, but have not found any use for them. Most of them are pentodes or diodes, I think a couple are triodes.

Due to them not being of any use at the time being, I have always wanted to display them somehow. Any ideas on a display case design? There are 17 tubes total, two of them are large, a couple are "medium sized", and the rest are the pentodes which are the smaller bunch.

Cool idea.  But, how do you avoid oxidizing the getter?

You can put LEDs inside them.

I'm in the process of building a Nixie tube clock with a similar aesthetic. I plan on machining an aluminum base for it; I think it would look pretty good with a minimalist squared off design and a sandblasted finish.
