USPS Headphone Problems.

Does anyone here at Head fi work for USPS?

This week I received two packages on different days where the tracking shows that they were delivered and signed for by a USPS agent, but no package arrived at the address.

A package from 03/15/2025 is missing.

A package from 03/18/2025 is missing.

All marked as delivered and signed for by an agent.

Can anyone with USPS experience tell me if it is common for delays of several days even with the tracking indicating that it has been delivered, do they have the bad habit of delivering the package later or the package is considered lost?

I have already filed a complaint with USPS but they do nothing.

They only investigate after it's missing 10 days. DeJoy dismantled so many high speed scanners things just don't update frequently now. If it got put on the wrong truck it's even worse since with less frequent scans you won't see an update for a while.
Two things I do is login to informed delivery and use the lost package form to request a trace when it's a week overdue. The local office might help if you can get them in the phone. With the tracking number they can trace it on a phone call most times.

The first package arrived, which confirms that it was just a delay on their part.

I just don't understand why they marked it as already delivered without actually having made the delivery. It was marked as delivered on the 15th but it was only this afternoon, the 19th, that it was actually delivered.
