Hello,

I am new to the Chord Poly and mconnect. So far I have been able to do the following:

1. Play audio files from the SD card in the Poly using mconnect -> Chord Poly Server on iPhone X, in both WiFi and Hotspot modes, playing to the Poly.
2. Play audio files from Qobuz and Tidal using the built in Tidal and Qobuz connection in WiFi mode, again playing to the Poly.

However, I am not able to play any music from Qobuz and Tidal to the Poly when in Hotspot mode. I have disabled the router on the Hotspot network, so I still have an internet connection. I can still login to Qobuz and Tidal, but when I try to play a track to the Poly using mconnect I briefly see the play button change to a pause button and then back to a play button, with nothing playing. I am able to play to the iPhone though in Hotspot mode.

The main purpose of getting the Chord Poly/Mojo is to listen to hi-res music on the go - both from the SD card (which works), but also from Tidal and Qobuz, so I am hoping that there is a way of getting this working. I am aware that I can use the native Qobuz and Tidal apps to play music via bluetooth, but as there's better sound quality using WiFi, I'd like to get this working too.

I should add that, though I have my Tidal and Qobuz credentials added in the GoFigure app, I am unable to play any music from Tidal or Qobuz in mconnect (or 8Player for that matter) when using the Chord Poly mediaserver renderer, in either WiFi or Hotspot mode - I get the error message "Service login or communication failure".

Thanks for any help!

Nick
