OK, I've recently ripped my entire CD collection to FLAC using EAC. I use Foobar2000 to listen to the FLACs, and now I want to transcode some of them to MP3 for use in a portable player. I would like to use LAME as the encoder via Foobar.
Can someone give me easy instructions with links as needed to:
1. Download the latest LAME encoder (or the most stable version) and
2. set it up for easy "right click" conversion of FLACs to MP3 in Foobar?
For some reason I've been having trouble doing this relatively simple task (something about foo_clienc, etc. from what I can gather online).
I'm feeling "LAME" about this, any help much appreciated
