Using a dongle DAC/amp with my CD player

So I have a thought of using one of my Dongle DAC/amps with my CD player (Marantz CD6006). There is no USB output on the CD player so I'd somehow have to convert optical or coax digital to USB (preferably USB-C). Is there a way to do this? It would allow me to have a super simple setup where I'd use a Dongle DAC/amp with my laptop and my CD player.
