So, they say that with USB 2.0, that you should not exceed 5 meters(16.5ft) in length. Yet by using a HUB/Splitter wouldn't that bend the rules a bit? I have a 10ft 2.0 Micro-USB cable coming from my Soundblasterx G6 DAC and sent into my HUB/Splitter and then two 10ft 2.0 USB Male A to Male B cables coming from the Hub on the other end and hooked directly into my Switch & PS4 Pro. Problem is, i need more cable length with my set up.
Couldn't i use two 15ft 2.0 USB male A to male B Cables instead of the two 10ft ones and lose zero audio quality since it's been powered by a hub splitter and not coming directly from the DAC itself as one single cable? What I'm saying is, because of the HUB/Splitter, it wouldn't recognize it as one long 25ft USB cable, and instead just15 feet & then 10 feet for the USB Micro cable.
