Hi Guys,

I recently ran into a good deal on a Burson Conductor and a Burson timekeeper.

The Conductor I have now and I must decide if I'm to buy the timekeeper.

My main question is;

Would the time keepers be able to drive the KEF LS50 monitors?

I have only 2 days to decide please help :frowning2:

Much apreciated

KEF recommends 20-100W for the LS50.

Timekeeper outputs 80W into 8ohms in stereo mode.

So I see no reason why it wouldn't.

I'm not very good with electronics so please bare with me

I just assumed as KEF says 20-100W recommended and the Burson's Max output is only 80Watts it would not be enough. At least not ideal.

I thought to get the best out of the KEF LS50's you would want a amp higher than 100wpc

Thanks for your inputs

but when KEF says they recommend 20-100Watts does that not mean to move the diaphragm completely they would need 100Watts ?

And will not having enough watts to drive the KEF's damage the Burson Timekeeper ? would it not be good for it in continuous use ?
