Upgrading Magni 2 to Valhalla 2 - HD 650

How much of a difference would I hear if I upgrade my schiit magni amp to a valhalla 2 for the HD 650s. If you had a choice of upgrading amps or upgrading to a HD 800, what would you do?

How much of a difference would I hear if I upgrade my schiit magni amp to a valhalla 2 for the HD 650s. If you had a choice of upgrading amps or upgrading to a HD 800, what would you do? 

What is your source? Phone, computer, transport with built in dac? Are you using an external dac?

You've got a well respected set of phones but depending on your feeds you may not be getting the most out of them. I have a Valhalla 2 that pairs very well with my HD600 but when I moved from an HRT Microstreamer to a Schiit Bifrost Multibit dac I got more out of everything else. The HD6XXs scale very well and are end of game for some folks. If you're using a Modi (or other good source) with your Magni then trading up to the Valhalla 2 seems more natural to me than going to the HD800.

The HD800s open up a whole, more expensive path of upgrades and pairings. If you love their sound then go for it otherwise do the modest switches in dac or Valhalla 2 and enjoy your current Senns.

A lot of folks have moved to the Valhalla and greatly enjoyed the move. i could see you change out your amp and then upgrade your dac in a few months. What you have now would be great for a second room or the office. Or attractive to someone as a starter set.
