Hi Head-Fi! This is my first post, and I'm excited to be a part of this community!
So I've been using my SE110s for about 3.5 years now, and they're finally starting to fall apart on me. I picked up a pair of Klipsch X10s during the Amazon Black Friday Sale, and I recently got a pair of the modified iBeats that came with my HTC Rezound. My friend also picked up a pair of the X10s, and I loved my SE110s, so I was hesitant to open my X10s before trying out a pair, so I tried hers out. I don't really know if I'm a huge fan. They sound good, but I prefer the signature of my SE110s. My SE110s just seemed much more clear on the high end, though I agree that the bass is virtually nonexistent (just to clarify, I use the included foam tips, but they fit extremely well, and this isn't an issue of fit). The X10s, though they had a more full midrange and a little more low end, just didn't offer the secure fit and isolation offered by the Shures.
So what I want to ask is this. With regards to the sound offered by the SE215 vs the X10, will I be more comfortable with the SE215 switching from the SE110s? Or should I stick it out with the X10s and wait to get used to them?
Thanks!
