The X3II does not support usb audio function, so you may not be able to connect the Q5s with it using the ML06.

Thanks for the reply and confirms that I will not able to use usb connection with Q5s. What about Fiio X5 1st gen? I'm just trying to find cheap and older DAPs to prolong its life with new dac/amp such as Q5s. Can it support usb audio?

The X3MKIII doesn't support usb audio function as well. Our M5, M6, M7, M9,M11,X5III... support instead.
