Hi!

Been using my Fiio F9 Pro's for a while and looking to "upgrade" or try a different flavour. Music source is mainly FLAC's played off a Fiio X1ii or iBasso DC05 from my phone with occasional use from my desktop through an iFi Zen Dac.

I've got two options in mind which are around the price range im looking for:
Campfire Audio Satsuma
Westone UM Pro 10

Having read into these, short of actually being able to audition them, I'm not sure if they would be "improvements" over the F9 Pro's considering the F9 is a triple "hybrid" driver IEM vs, both of them being single BA. I'm mainly looking for additional clarity in the highs and a tad tighter bass.

Any opinions from people with experience would be greatly appreciated!

I have no experience with the F9 Pro, but I do have the UM10 Pro. I find them very clear sounding, although that’s overall, I don’t notice anything particular about the higher registers. (My hearing tails off above 14khz.)

As for the bass, it’s very well controlled, tight and clean. However, they are a lean sounding IEM. If there’s bass in the recording, it will come through, but these are not for bass heads.
