My current setup is a NAD 541i, Sudgen Headmaster and the HD600. I am quite satisfied with the HD600 and the Sudgen Heamaster, so I would like to upgrade my source. The options I have thought of are addition of a DAC or changing my CD player.

Depending on your budget, I have found that apart from changing my amp. Changing my CD Player has had the biggest impact on my system yet.

My budget is about $1500-$3000. SACD may be one of my options.

That's quite a huge budget for a source! You can get anything from a Sony SCD-1 SACD player to a Electrocompaniet EMC II!

Right now I do not know what to upgrade first. Should I change my CD player (NAD541i) or get a multi for player (e.g. Pioneer DV-755Ai) or get a DAC to upsample my current CD player?
