This is interesting. An Xperia phone promotion video with 'Powered by WALKMAN' logo and 1ZM2 appearance.

Are we gonna have a Sony phone with balanced output and the well-known S-master HX digital amplifier?

I expect this to be a true WALKMAN phone, like what Sony Ericsson did in the past. I heard the Moondrop phone's sound quality was great and I hope this will be even better!

I've had a Sony Xperia 1V for two years now and I love it - the format, the camera, the multi-window and other Sony specifics. But at the price point these sell at, I can't see them adding Walkman features like 4.4mm jack, etc. without the phone climbing from 1399€ to unworkable prices for a phone above 1500€.

Yep, I jumped from Samsung back to Sony with the 1 VI when they dropped the battery hog & OTT 4K display and wider format display from the narrow.

Battery life is a monster with the new screen and cooler, more efficient CPU.

Sounds great out of 3.5mm too, but still prefer my BTR17 over balanced.

Looks interative update to me and too thin for any 4.4mm port, and we already have LDAC 990 & aptX lossless in the V & VI.
