Patrick, 5fps??? Wow, sounds like you need an upgrade (uh oh). I get around 130fps with all the sliders at the max, but then again, I have a pretty decent setup.

My computer is 2-3 years old, and I still get beautifully smooth framerates. Haven't checked what the actual FPS is though.

I was going to buy a new shaving machine today but then I realized that those machines are made for business men with suits and briefcases (I never tried razor because it would get messy). My old shaver has 12 years old dull blades and it just pulls the hair instead of cuts it, it feels like getting stung by hundreds of bees. So either that or gaming at 5 fps. I think the graphics card is better in the long-term because I only shave a few times per year anyway.

I have started shaving more often now hoping to meet a girlfriend but when I tried UT2004 it felt like the bot was my girlfriend because she followed me everywhere I went, I could give her commands but something didn't feel right with her. I'm looking forward to UT3 because of better bots.

I'm using x1600pro @ 2560x1600 @ 5 fps. Is 8800gt going to be good enough? It will be released in 2 weeks. I don't like to wait long for 9800gtx, I want to spend more time with my bot girlfriend, but maybe the wait will be worth it to see her in higher frame rates.

I run at 2560x1600 everything maxed with 16X AF with the following:

3.8ghz core 2 duo
4GB ram @ 1100mhz
8800GTX

I get 80-100 FPS average, which drops to 60 during massive fights. Runs nice and smooth.

Running @ 800x600, levels of graphics of 4 and 3 respectively with FPS average of about 30 on my M1330 lappy, T7100, 2gb, 8400 GS. Pretty addicting, even with low FPS. My neck is hurting now...
