Ultimate Ears Super.fi 5 EB - can I buy these 'in store' Melbourne, Australia??

Just curious? These look like they could be a good earphone, since I can't take my non portables with me (toooo big, and I look like someone who spends way too much time on Head-fi

hehe).


Anyone know if the Ultimate Ears Super.fi 5 EB are available from any stores in Melbourne? I much prefer to go and purchase phones in person (mainly because I can't stand waiting on the mail for my phones!!!!!) ... Do JB sell these? or even places like the major department stores?

I really want to avoid the whole on-line ordering (if I can). I hate playing that delivery 'waiting game'....you all know what I mean.

In my experiences of headphone hunting around Melbourne, I have seen no Ultimate Ears nor Westone products sold around Melbourne stores. The best IEM i've seen being sold are the Shures and the Etymotic's from Streetwise (www.streetwise.com.au). There may be a slim chance if you look deep into music stores such as Allans Music or Billy Hydes. I'm in the same situation as you are not being able to purchase merchandise online. Therefore I've been trying hard to find professional sores that sells high-end products. So far I've only seen Streetwise with the most IEM variety being sold at the lowest price possible.

The Sony ex-71 can also be found at StoreDJ at the lowest price around Melbourne (http://www.storedj.com.au/)

Thanks for the info^^^. I thought I would need to do the inevitable.... so, I've ordered online (again, sorry wallet!)...

I read in other threads that earphonesolutions.com have good service and stock the EBs, and delivery is quite quick to Australia.. So, the waiting game starts now... I'll probably get them early next week (maybe!).


hmmm... now... what's next? some beyers, a supermini? supermacro? upgrade the AT900s? .........I am getting WAY to deep into this headphone obsession. Seems to be common around here?
