I'd like to get into vinyl,and just got a Technics sl-220 for free from my father,so i was wondering if it woudld be worth it to change the cartrige for an inexpansive audiophile kind (rigtht now it has a SHURE 70B) and if so wich one,or should i just get a Rega P1 and be "done with it"

I suggest you use the Technics as is for a few months and if you really get into vinyl and all the care that goes into it, you save for something even nicer than the P1.

Yeah, make sure that vinyl is your thing first. It does get really fussy.
