My 800s will arrive today. Should I keep the volume down for a period of time? If so after how many hours could I turn the volume up loud ish? Thanks

I doubt if it’s that big of a deal. Use the volume at any level when new

Have kept the volume at or below average listening. And burning all night. Controversial, yes. But I figured it wouldn’t hurt

I wouldn't stress too much about burning in. Mine sounded great out of the box. If there has been a change over time it is very subtle. Just enjoy your headphones.
