I received my Audiotailor Jade today and I'm enjoying the chocolatey sound.

Being my first valve amp, I was curious if the tube connesseurs here have any tips of keeping the tubes and amp in tip top shape.

For one, I was pulling in and out between my Grados and HD650s earlier but I read a maintenance guide that when a tube amp is on, pulling out the *load* of the headphones/speakers should be avoided to prevent blowing tubes.

What other tips do you guys have?

^Yep. Tubes, despite the common belief, however, aren't too picky about the care they receive. As long as you don't abuse them, they tend to last quite a while.
