Hey all, first time poster, been lurking here on and off for a couple years.

I'm thinking about getting my first smartphone.  It will be an Android device, with USB OTG capability, and a ton of storage space (for flac files).

I would really love to pick up one of those Emmeline Predator or Intruder portable DAC/Amps.  Probably the Predator though, I don't think I "need" the Intruder.

I'm pretty sure that I want some high impedance headphones in order the justify the Amp portion of the Predator...otherwise I could just get a DAC.

I've been looking for a pair of cans that have an in-line mic because I want to be able to answer calls/place calls without handling the actual phone.  I don't know if it's possible to use a pair of standard hi-fi cans through USB OTG, and have a completely independent mic in use at the same time...so I've been looking for in-line mic headphones.  I don't know if this is the correct way to do things, but it's the reasoning I've come to.  If someone has a better solution, it would be greatly appreciated.

With this list of requirements, the best headphones I've found are the Audio Technica ATH-ANC9.  I've been using the list over at headphone.com to choose from because I saw it in a thread around here somewhere.  If anyone has any better solutions for headphones that would be awesome.  The Audio Technica ones I mentioned apparently have some bad coloration that I would like to avoid.  I listen to just about every genre of music (barring heavy metal and country) at some point or another, so I think I would like cans that are very neutral.

I think that's about all I can think of off the top, basically looking for headphone recommendations and advice on using a mic with an USB OTG DAC/Amp.  If I can use a standalone mic, then I can pick some nicer "standard" hi-fi headphones.  I have a preference for big over-the-ear DJ-style headphones too!
