I bought my xp-7 from you last week, and I was wondering if you have had a chance to try that combination.
When I have the shures connected to the xp-7 there is a constant hiss (which is understandable due to the shures sensitivity), but in the left channel, the hiss is inconsistent. The hiss spikes high and low. Is this more likely to be a problem with the headphones or the amp? Just trying to decide if either the amp or the phones need to go back for replacement.
When hooked directly to the source or any other amp (all give me a hiss), there is never any inconsistencies in the left channel.
