This is really excellent. These guys have such great synergy. Joe Lovano, some of his best playing ever and a treat to hear his soprano sax which I've always really liked. And Marcin Wasilewski, he just keeps outdoing himself.

I've got that new Lovano album; haven't listened to it yet, now I'm really excited to!

^ Mostly an album consisting of solo double bass. Interesting stuff.

^My favorite so far of this saxophonist's 3 ECM albums.

^An addition: finally got around to listening to this. The lovely playing by the very young/little credited pianist Tom Oren stuck out most to me.

There's really nobody I'm aware of that does what Thomas Strønen does. Just very musical and beautiful stuff. And if you have the ability to cleanly reproduce ultra low frequencies his records are something to experience.
