So I still love my Denon AH-D7000 but it’s starting to show some signs of it’s age. The pads and headband all need to be replaced and I don’t know how healthy everything else is including the drivers since they’re about 10+ years old.

I’m not the handiest person out there so I prefer not to DIY. Is there a service out there that will actually update these headphones for you? I will be going to CanJam SoCal, would some vendors offer this? Any other suggestions? Thanks

If you don't want to replace the headband, you can try a headband cover. A lot of people in the forum use it with good results.

I’m ok replacing it, I just don’t feel comfortable doing it myself. I pretty much break everything I work on and don’t wanna mess with the headphones

Pad replacement should be easy to do, there's a mounting ring that comes out when you rotate, it's very easy.

Headband, trickier... There are Fostex mod shops like Lawton Audio(?) that modify these professionally. Never heard of them swapping a head band but it wouldn't hurt to ask...
