Thinking of getting fiio x5 need info on computer tools

I have only used iPod for portable sound I have home setup of marantz 1604 cd65005 bp6 speakers dt990 and sr 180 headphones

Can anyone give over view of computer tools to use with x5? Is it possible to use iTunes with it?

I would assume you can copy your Apple ALAC music files onto the FiiO X5.
