...so that explains it. Did you follow up with your physician? Did you at least get an MRI or a CT scan?

Bloody hell, wink - so you've moved on from clobbering your cranium with bricks - now it's hammers and anvils. Quite the hobby you have there! Try skipping the "heavy sledge hammer and anvil" bit...any entry-level pair of JVCs or Audio-Technicas should provide you with the same results.
