I have to provide the history of mageneisum being used in walkmen for my project. So I would be really grateful if anyone would tell me the first walkman made of magnesium. Thank you.

Not sure of this... Sony has used magnesium alloy throughout its line for a long time... but one thing is for sure, in 1994 when it was Sony Walkman's 15th Anniversary, the WM-EX1 / EX1HG anniversary model did used magnesium-aluminum alloy body casing which made the tape player very lightweight compare to the models in previous years (I have the EX808HG from '93 and it is significantly heavier compare to my EX1HG...)

So that could be the first ever one... If you want the first one with a forged magnesium lid, it's the MZ-R90 MD Recorder from 1999 (its bottom shell is aluminum)... the R91 and R900 is aluminum...
