If size is not a concern I recommend the MK I. I have both. The MK I has better soundstage and significantly less hiss than the T4. Plus you have the option of being able to roll the opamps on the MK I.

so you're the right person to ask this to. how about the synergy with the PFE? i see here you don't have PFE in your profile unless it's not updated. it may have a bigger soundstage but synergy is more important as it may not appear that big with a certain phone like the PFE. i've heard from some hfiers that T4 has a good synergy with the PFE. i just want to clarify. your opinion help is much appreciated though.

I wish I could help you with the PFE question, but I've never heard them. In general I'm not an IEM fan anyway. I only use them out of necessity, either because of isolation or for running/cycling.
