The best DAC I've ever heard out of a few hundred is the Gustard X30 which is a streamer also, but the quad 9039Pro DAC is end game for anyone. The best value for money is the Topping E70 9028Pro which is flawless for performance if you just want gain with a wire. The instrument separation and sound stage on the X30 is just amazing though.
