Successful ABX testing to hear the difference between Redbook Audio vs upsampled to 192/24
Sep 17, 2013 at 11:36 PM Post #136 of 136
This file is encoded in a slightly different way, using Variable Bit Rate at highest quality setting on the LAME encoder ( -V0 ).

The following is the foobar log for comparing this high quality MP3 versus the original WAV source file ( 44.1/16).
Like the previous ones, the algorithm is excellent. But it's not transparent.
This is a planned set of 12 rounds.
