Study: Headphone Price and Sound Quality

Well, as the linked study says, chasing after a more expensive piece of equipment in the hopes of getting better sound is a fool's errand. It's better to get good sounding IEMs than it is to get expensive IEMs. It is perfectly possible to get fantastic sound on a budget. You just need to do a little research and define what you are looking for. You can't take other people's word for it, especially people who are paid to get you to buy their product. Price and quality aren't really related.
Well, remember that the regression function may not describe most of the scatter plot, but it isn’t like it is impossible to find some cases of price correlation with FR. Not the norm, but not impossible (knowing the R^2 will be of great help here).
