Speaker Wire Help

Hey guys,

I'm looking for speaker wires for my Blue Sky Media Desk 2.1 Any suggestions are welcome. I need something that is neutral and balanced.

I'm using some assorted wire that my Dad bought in Omaha in the 80's and some from Tweeter in the early 90's. I think the gauge is 24 or 26.

If I was in need of speaker cable, I'd look at Blue Jeans Cable's offerings.

In past thread on this issue, people have recommended 10 or 12 gauge zip cord.

If you don't need long runs, it's probably cheaper to buy the exact length you need from Blue Jeans Cable. They recommend that you buy the wire unterimated and terminate them yourself (looking at the instructions, it looks very easy to do), but they also sell it terminated.

if it's for really short runs and you have some spare cat 5 make your own

Thanks for the advice guys, I'm going to get the 5000UE 12 gauge, I'll let you know how they turn out.
