Just noticed this, have to check meets as well.
Bit of a shlep for me, but I like going to Philly (heard some nice jazz Friday night at Ars Nova Workshop (Dave Douglas/Dada People)
Try to keep an eye out for these as well.

I looked at the schedule, no leader there I know (though that doesn't mean they're not good). Interesting, some of the side men are jazz players I know (Don Braden is a fine sax player in one of the bands, for instance). Going into Manhattan with my older daughter tomorrow night to hear David Murray, that should be a great show. I'm up for it, though, would be great!
