Hi, I recently bought an HDTV and I've noticed that the sound isn't so great. I'm not too knowledgeable on terminology so I don't know how to describe it, but it's like I can hear the metal back of the TV rattling at some points. I'd like to purchase a soundbar, or possibly even a cheap stereo system, but I'm not sure where to start.
First off, here's my TV:

And here's a pair of speakers that I have connected to my computer:

I'm going to have everything set up in a relatively small college apartment living room, with the TV in the center and my computer desk with a 27 inch monitor next to it. In the past I've had the TV's sound run through my computer so that all sound came out of my 2.1 speakers. With this TV that isn't an option as the only audio output is the digital optical out. I'd like to buy something better than the speakers and I have a budget of $300. I'd like to have both my computer and my TV connected, so I want two digital optical inputs. I'd also prefer a wireless subwoofer. I intend to play video games, watch movies, and play music through whatever I buy, so I'd like it to be good all-around. I don't think I really need any special features. So if anyone has any recommendations based on my needs that would be awesome.
