Mine are coming next Wednesday will be fun. Ha e a feel it will steal my excitement over the Okavango I just got
Will be fun to see how it compares to Penon 10th and ISN EST50 also tribrids but cheaper models.
If I recall EST50 have a silicon driver in 10mm for bass, DTE900 have a liquid silicon with titanium shield in 9.2mm. And one thing that very nice on the est50 is the textured and nice low end.
Yes, Aurora is pretty similar to SR8 in its 0-0 configuration. But I might need to take a listen again since I've fried my brain lately A/Bing the Chord Mojo 2 and Topping DX1.
Edit: Speaking of, Mojo 2 and SR8 aren't the best match. Pretty easy to hear some noise without music playing. No such issue with the DX1. I do have an ifi IEMatch+ though which should help with that.
Sound Rhyme DTE900 has landed, first impression is very good. Got that wow factor straight from the go, will come back with more impressions later once I have tried it more.

Size is very similar, also shell design. For me the Neon Pro is still best, its the only IEM that I have that is almost like perfect CIEM fit. The wing is also smaller on DTE900.
Can take a size comparing photo beside some models later.

Thanks mate, its beautiful. Even photos can not capture it perfect.
Cayin N7 matches very good, but will let it burn in before saying to much.
But so far it has a very tasteful low end with great slam and texture. Mids and treble to back it up, and soundstage is always very personal but this sound rather large.

Side by side comparison photos would be great. Thanks!
The NP did have a very locked in fit for me but the wing was too pronounced. The DTE900 also has vented shell which I much prefer. Seems like it would likely fit me better than NP...

Yes I have the same experience with NP, my ears feel a bit ‘stuffed’ at times and I can’t listen for very long as a result. The lack of venting also creates a pressure build sometimes too. My fussiness with IEMs is at an all time high!
