This is completely random (or seems to be).
The sound can be working fine, and then suddenly the card will stop outputting audio altogtether, only a system restart gets it back.
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the latest drivers and patchmix.
It seems as if when I try and play a video file for example, it can crash the soundcard, and it won't work again until i restart! I can't seem to pinpoint what types of audio cause the problems. Anyone have similar experiences?
I'm sure it must be codec related. I'm using the latest ffdshow. OS is Vista x64. I use Media Player Classic 6491 to play video files.
