Through upraditis, brought on by this board and others, I found myself with an extra receiver, cd player, DAC, and much cabling. I moved to a larger place and acquired a room in which I could set up another sound system and decided to make use of this extra equipment. The only thing I didn't have was speakers. I've been using a pair of JBL L112's for over twenty years, like their sound, and hadn't tried out any other speakers.
I didn't want to spend a lot of money for a secondary system. I ordered a pair of Sound Dynamics RTS-3's and some Sanus speaker stands from Audioadvisor for about $250.
For $200 the pair these speakers sound really good. They don't have real low bass, they only go down to 50hz, but what they have is clear and not muddied. They have very good highs and midrange.
Speaker technology has really changed since I bought the JBL's.
I think I have seen audioadvisor sell these speakers for $150, at that price they are a steal.
Has anybody else had experience with these speakers?

I don't remember which ones, But I had a pair of Sound Dynamics speakers. I ended up giving them to a friend, when I upgraded. They were great sounding speakers and a real buy at the price. Hard to beat for the money.
