Hi all
I just bought a Grado sr80i,this is the first time i spent this much for headsets.
I am currently running it with an asus xonar dx,and i just can't believe how much better is it than my onboard sound.
I was thinking about buying asus essence stx but then i came to know that using a DAC/AMP i can get much better output.
So i have few noobish questions for you guys :
1) how much difference i would notice after jumping to essence stx from asus xonar dx.I am going to use it mostly for Music and Movies.
2)Can i beat asus essence stx with an equally priced DAC/AMP?
Head Direct twin tube costs same as the asus essence stx in my country,is it better than running an essence stx.
